Strawberry Lemonade


This is hardly a recipe, but I can't stop drinking this amazing and refreshing beverage.

Makes 6 cups of lemonade
  • 1 quart [4 cups] lemonade
  • 2 C strawberries, fresh or frozen
Mix ingredients in a blender until strawberries are pureed.

Blackberry Lemonade


This isn't much of a recipe, but more so just documentation of one of our favorite summer drinks.
We had a plethora of wild blackberries growing behind our backyard this summer. We made good use of them by mixing a handful of blackberries into a pitcher of lemonade.

Pumpkin Milkshake

Serves 2-3
  • 1/2 C pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 C milk
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla
  • pinch of nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 TBS brown sugar
  • 2 C vanilla ice cream
  • 1-2 graham crackers, crushed
Combine all ingredients, except the graham crackers, in the blender. Pour into glasses and sprinkle with graham crackers.

Pineapple-Lemon Slushie

  • 1 C water
  • 2 C ice
  • 1/3 C pineapple juice concentrate
  • juice of 2 lemons
  • 20 oz. bottle of Sprite or 7 Up
Blend everything in blender except for Sprite.
Add Sprite and stir. Serve immediately.

Pina Colada Pops


*Serves 6

1 (10 oz) can pineapple chunks
1 banana
1 can coconut milk
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 C brown sugar

Blend ingredients together. Pour into popsicle dish and freeze.

Pink Lemonade/Raspberry Love Potion


1 (12-ounce) can pink lemonade concentrate
4 cups raspberry sherbet
1 (12-ounce) can of Sprite

 In a pitcher, mix the lemonade concentrate with the recommended amount of water.
In a blender, combine the sherbet with 4 cups of the lemonade mixture; mix until combined. Pour into individual glasses. Add the soda, stir gently and serve.

Brazillion Lemonade


*Serves 4-6

1 C sugar
6 C cold water
4 limes
1/3 C sweetened condensed milk

Mix cold water and sugar very well and chill until ready to use. Mix cold water and sugar very well and chill until ready to use. Wash limes thoroughly with soap. Cut the ends off the limes and cut each lime into eighths.
Place half of the limes in your blender. Add half of the sugar and water, pulse in blender until well blended.
Place a fine-mesh strainer over a pitcher and pour mixture. Dump the pulp and residue in the strainer into the trash. Repeat with remaining limes and sugar water.
Whisk in sweetened condensed milk.
Serve immediately with ice.
