German Pankcakes

I had never even had a German Pancake til a year ago.
Surely I was missing out! I choose this over waffles, pancakes or french toast any day. Especially with fresh fruit and whipped cream on top.


1/2 C flour
1/2 C milk
1/2 cube (1/4 C) butter
3 eggs

Melt butter in 8" x 8" X 2" casserole dish in the oven as it preheats to 425.
Beat all other ingredients together. 

Slosh melted butter around the sides of the casserole dish, and then pour batter of other ingredients into butter and bake in center of oven for 20 min.
Serve with powdered sugar sprinkled over the top and/or your choice of syrup.
