Sugar Cookies & Frosting


Sugar Cookies
Makes up to 24 cookies
  • 1/2 C (1 stick) butter
  • 1 C sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 1/2 C flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking powder
In a large mixing bowl, mix butter, sugar, vanilla and eggs. 
In a separate bowl mix flour, salt and baking powder. 
Combine dry ingredients with butter/sugar mixture and mix well.

Bake at 375 for 10-12 minutes. 
*You'll know when the cookies are done when the bottoms are very slightly golden.

Frosting
Makes enough to frost approximately 24 cookies
  • 1 lb. box powdered sugar
  • 4 TBS butter, melted
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 TBS milk
Mix together with mixer.
Store in fridge.

Easter cookies.
